| In 2022, the third of Charles Dickens' five Christmas stories was introduced into Dickens' Village. The Cricket On the Hearth: A Fairytale Of Home was written in 1845 and is the heartwarming story of the Peerybingles and a guardian angel cricket whose lives intermingle with the miserly toy merchant Tackleton and others. While the introduced home references the story, the companion barn references Charles Dickens' middle name. | ||||||||||||||
